My training programmes aren’t for the feint hearted. I am a very determined character and like my clients to show the same commitment with their training. I am sensitive to the needs of my clients but find a strong mental attitude is the key to success.  You set the goal and I set the challenge.  Through hard work and determination you reach that goal.

One of my many success stories is a client who lost 7 stones and continues to retain her new weight and completely changed her lifestyle to incorporate health and fitness.

My passion lies in teaching  group fitness  ie. Body Pump, Body Combat, circuits, biking, pilates, LBT and aerobics.  Variety is the key to help you to remain focused and motivated with your training.  I specialise in the following:-

i.Weight loss/weight management – change your attitude towards healthy eating.  Sustain and retain your new weight and fitness;

ii.Strength & Endurance training – I indeed, used to complete in bodybuilding competitions!

iii.Core Strength/Pilates – inner core muscle training, posture and balance;

iv.Pre/post natal training – exercise during and after pregnancy; and

v.Running/speed agility – from beginner lever to advanced.  Sprint or distance running.

I live breath and sleep exercise and am very well known for my proven regimes.  I am a strong role model both in my private life and career. After 25 years in the fitness industry I never tire of teaching.

“Having been a keen runner, a double knee replacement operation in November 2005 left me devastated. Trying to get back to some sort of fitness, I tried the option of a personal trainer to assist my rehabilitation. Tracey provided me with a pool routine that gradually built up my strength, stamina and movement, before moving back into the gym. I never dreamt I would ever be able to resume running again, but Tracey’s knowledge and encouragement provided me with the motivation and was the perfect tonic. After I completed the 2007 London Marathon, she has continued to help me  improve my strength and speed with different and fun routines”. Dave Mason, Wellingborough

Bill McDonald: Fitness Motivator

Hi my Name is Bill McDonald, I have always had a keen interest in sport health and exercise. It is this, which has driven me into the gym-based industry.

Having trained for many years personally and gaining a thirst for knowledge to improve my own training, I proved to be a good training partner for my peers and helped them to further their training, using my knowledge of exercise techniques.

With this in mind, I chose to study for a degree in the Philosophy and Practice of Martial Arts and Strength and Conditioning. During this time, I gained much knowledge in the sport health and fitness industry. I believe it is this factor, which elevates my training to another level. I not only have a sound understanding of exercise techniques but also the effect these techniques directly have upon the body.

It gives me a great sense of achievement when I see people I have trained perform and achieve what they have set out to do. This is what motivates me to work within this industry.

Sport and exercise is all about self-improvement, therefore it should be both enjoyable yet challenging. Variety and regular updates to your programme not only keeps you from becoming bored but also stops your body from becoming complacent; which ultimately slows down progress. A measured approach to your training is always advisable. As well as regular changes to your programme, it is also advisable to perform regular health and fitness monitoring procedures. This not only shows you how much you have progressed and in which areas, but also areas of weakness, which require further attention.

My areas of speciality lies in strength training, training of the combat arts, body building techniques and functional exercise prescription.  Although these area my areas of speciality, I am also versed in a diverse range of health and exercise prescription for a variety different populations.

Joe Murphy: Fitness Motivator

Hi. My name is Joe Murphy and I have been a gym and exercise class instructor since 2006.

My aim is simple. To help and assist you every step of the way to the new and improved you!

My approach is simple. I believe in a steady rate of progression.

I believe in quality over quantity. You will always hear and see me emphasise the importance of technique. So if you are following a programme designed by me, know that I will always format the programme to your needs and more importantly, your current level of fitness.

I believe that when you start to reap the benefits of regular exercise, you should congratulate yourselves over the instructor. After all, it is you who has achieved that target. It is you who found the strength to carry on. Metaphorically speaking, I gave you the directions to arrive at your destination, but you are the vehicle who got there.

I believe in variety. We all know exercise can get boring and it’s easy to lose interest. That is why I will keep a constant check on your exercise card and always suggest reviewing your workout every 3-4 weeks at a time. I don`t forget about you.  I also recommend combining gym exercise with class exercise. Simply because it will motivate you to exercise more frequently and will only benefit you, physically and mentally.

I am a positive person and believe you can always take good out of bad. Every cloud DOES have a silver lining. Why do we fall? So that we can learn how to pick ourselves up again. I use sayings like these to motivate and inspire clients. If you are in the correct frame of mind to exercise, you benefit and enjoy it so much more

I believe you can do anything you set your mind too.

Impossible is nothing
